I just wanted to follow up and send out some updates after our Executive/Directors meeting that was held by teleconference yesterday morning.

SSAI lottery/Raffle tickets – 6,373 tickets were sold.  25% rebate to clubs who sold tickets (93 clubs sold tickets); Shellbrook Seniors club sold the most  tickets (200)!  Meota 2nd place with 130 tickets sold.

SSAI continues to advocate for seniors.  Dwayne Turcotte (SSAI President) had a radio interview with CKOM and CBC, and Mike Kaminski (SSAI 1st Vice) had a TV interview with Global, regarding vulnerability of seniors, long term care facilities, and financial support for seniors. 

We need to hear more from our members about issues affecting Saskatchewan Seniors…
